Musical Education/Teaching Experience: B.Mus in flute performance and M.A. in music history and literature, University of Denver. Masterclasses with Bennett, Kujala, Panitz and private study with Lois Schaefer. More than 20 years of teaching experience and classical performance.

Teaching Philosophy: Each student should be coached according to their goals, interests, and personal skill level. I love coaching auditions and have had students in CU Honor Ban, All-Satae Orchestra and Band, area youth orchestras. IMy students have also won various solo competitions. However, I enjoy equally helping a beginner to play their first notes or a casual adult player just enjoy their limited time with the flute playing whatever makes their day.

Additional Info: The major portion of my professional life is now centered in music management, but I am serious about continuing to give students my very best and consistent efforts as a coach.
