Teaching Philosophy: I believe that music plays an huge part in the life of each student’s education as well as their own self worth. As a music educator, I believe that it is my duty to be prepared with quality instruction to help each student realize his or her own individual potential. Every student can benefit by learning music as it enriches our quality of life! Music Research has shown that the study of music encourages wholesome public interaction, correlates positively with increased math and science aptitudes, verbal memory, and SAT scores, guides and promotes discipline and perseverance. I strongly believe music, as well as other types of art, are necessary if we expect our students to be great thinkers and achievers. Through my love of music, I hope to inspire students and help them realize what a joy it can bring to their every day lives…
